The Diving Kids Komodo program is an amazing way for children to get introduced to scuba diving from an early age. At Legend Diving Komodo, kids as young as 8 can strap on a tank and enjoy their first experience in the pool.

This gentle introduction helps them become comfortable in the water and prepares them for future ocean dives. By age 10, they can join the junior-level programs and start blowing bubbles in the sea! The sensation of saltwater on their skin is unforgettable. By age 12, children are ready to take on the advanced-level courses.

Safety is our top priority. Every child is under constant, direct supervision from our team of highly trained PADI Instructors, guiding them step by step to becoming confident and skilled scuba divers.

Under the direct supervision of a Professional PADI Instructor, they will explore the vibrant coral reefs of Komodo, diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Your child will swim among colorful fish and discover the incredible underwater world firsthand.

Their First Full Certification

PADI Junior Open Water – From 10 years old

Does your family enjoy diving trips? Now even the little ones can join in! From the age of 10, children can earn their PADI Junior Open Water Certification with our Diving Kids Komodo program.

To start, they will complete all course modules just like adult divers, but with equipment and depth limits adapted for their age. Our experienced PADI Instructors ensure that children understand all theoretical concepts, translating diving principles into ideas they can relate to.

Upon completion, they will receive a lifetime diving certification, which will automatically upgrade to an adult certification when they reach the appropriate age.

Really great experience from the start. We were met in the shop by a very professional staff who provided comfortable options for us. My wife and I along with our two kids did two days of diving. My 12 year old daughter had just completed her open water certification prior to arriving in Indonesia so we were assigned an instructor and Divemaster in training for our two days. Very professional briefings, excellent safety protocols and just a fun group of people. I would absolutely dive with them again.
