As one of the highlights of the PADI Advanced Course Komodo, the Deep Adventure Dive takes you from 18 meters down to 30 meters. While the dive is not significantly more challenging than shallower dives, there are key considerations. Air consumption increases at greater depths, and divers should be aware of nitrogen narcosis, which can feel like mild intoxication. Effects usually begin below 20 meters but remain manageable up to 40 meters. Your instructor will guide you through simple exercises to recognize and manage these effects, and ascending slightly can help minimize them.

Mastering buoyancy is a key skill for any skilled diver, yet it’s one of the areas most beginners find challenging. That’s why the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive is a crucial part of the PADI Advanced Course Komodo. During this dive, your instructor will guide you through a series of obstacles designed to refine your control underwater. You’ll also receive expert tips and techniques that make buoyancy easier to manage, helping you glide effortlessly and conserve energy on every dive. Many divers consider this dive the most valuable part of their advanced training.

Sometimes, you won’t have a guide leading the way underwater, which makes navigation a critical skill. The Underwater Navigation dive in the PADI Advanced Course Komodo teaches you how to confidently use a compass and natural references to find your way. The aim is to reach points of interest and return safely to the boat or shore. Mastering navigation ensures you maximize every dive, making the most of your air supply and fully enjoying the underwater world.

Get ready for adrenaline and excitement! The Drift Adventure Dive in the PADI Advanced Course Komodo is perfect for experiencing the thrill of moving with the current. With proper training, you’ll learn to feel comfortable and confident in drift conditions. Excellent buoyancy control, which complements the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive, is key to mastering this experience. Flying through the currents is an unforgettable adventure that adds a whole new dimension to your Komodo diving journey.

Enhance your knowledge of Komodo’s vibrant marine life with the Fish Identification Dive in the PADI Advanced Course Komodo. At first, it might be challenging to recognize all the creatures you encounter underwater, but with practice, your ability to identify species will improve dramatically. Understanding the relationships between different marine organisms will deepen your appreciation of the underwater ecosystem and make every dive more meaningful and engaging.

We spend 3 days diving with the team at Legend. Every dive site was different and spectacular in its own right. The coral and diversity of reef fish is amazing. The mantas and turtles plentiful. I am new to diving so don’t have many benchmarks to compare to but my husband who instructed for years was blown away by the quality of the reef and ecosystems and says it was amongst the best diving experience he’s had. The team are highly profesional and really welcoming and friendly. The delicious Indonesian lunch included on the boat is a bonus. I did the advanced PADI open water course with Ivana who was experienced and knowledgable whilst patient and funny. A really great couple of days I loved it. Thank you to the whole team

Friendly and professional – exactly what you need on a dive trip. They were diligent about prior qualifications and took my partner through the PADI Advanced course quickly and carefully. Lovely dives at Manta Bay with 4 manta rays – special experience. Clean and well-run dive centre with great DM’s

I have done a PADI course open water and advanced with legend diving in the beginning of September. Everything was organised fine. Ricardo made sure I could see as much dive sites as possible. Although the rough conditions (for beginners) at manta point and troyapake I made my first dives here. Happy so as the waves did not allow boats to go there in the week after. I had private lessons from Julio see picture. He was an awesome instructor. I really feel I learned the most I could during the courses.
